OPC Youth Workshop

The OPC Youth Workshop is our commitment to developing and nurturing the next generation of talent and audiences in American theatre. Veteran writing and acting coach Kim Maxwell provides the opportunity of a lifetime by immersing young writers and performers in the creative process with OPC’s world-class family of theatre artists.

Daylong exercises with OPC playwrights provide unprecedented access and opportunity. An OPC All Access Pass allows participants to be the first to see developmental readings that go on to be fully-realized productions on the stages of Los Angeles, New York and London.

To be nurtured by an impassioned community of like-minded peers and mentored by the finest dramatists this country has to offer, the OPC Youth Workshop is an inspiring and unique way for young writers and performers to find their voice.

The fee for this week-long workshop is $395. Space is limited to twelve applicants, ages 13 to 18.

Applicants must apply first - and once accepted - will be asked to submit payment. For more information contact Kim Maxwell or call (805) 207-7470
